Denyce Lawton is now happily married to her teenage love. Denyce Lawton husband, Eban Grasti proposed during a trip to Paris on 2nd May 2023, on the actress' 45th birthday. The surprise proposal took place in the beloved Love Lock Bridge while her boyfriend Eban pretended to stop to take photos. 

Denyce and her partner then tied the knot in Washington, D.C. accompanied by 165 guests which included their family and friends. Their marriage ceremony was conducted on 1st June 2024. Her bridesmaids included actress Kyla Prarr and singer Mya. 

Her relationship story dates back to her childhood days and in her hometown Neptune Township, New Jersey where Denyce and her husband grew up living a couple blocks apart.

But it wasn't until the 6th grade that she realized having crush on her classmate Eban. He was one of the popular school guys, a jokester, cutie, and had fun to be around type personality. However, their family ended up relocating in different cities and the two lost touch. 

Although their relationship didn't take off during their youth, social media brought them back together years later. They reconnected on Facebook in 2009, stayed in casual contact, and eventually rekindled their connection in 2022. A single phone call led to a meaningful realization for both of them.

When Denyce was in Los Angeles and Eban was in Chicago, he decided to fly out for their first date. After a week of really getting to know each other, they realized having a stronger connection. After 2 months of their wedding Denyce shared her wedding pictures and described via caption how she manifested marrying her now-husband from the age of 12. The caption of the photo read,

Upon having a conversation about being married at 46 years of age with Essence she revealed,
