At the age of 14, Aidan was inspired by American singer and songwriter Pink’s YouTube video where she was performing her signature aerial routine at a concert. He then went to his grandma’s closet where he found a sheet. Then he got a ladder and hung it up in the garden and started doing flips, turns, and inversions. As he began learning the basics of aerial performance it took a while for Aidan to get used to it and once he became used to it, he started finding various ways to get on and off and he even learned new tricks.
Aidan gradually became better and had a pretty good sense of what he could and couldn’t do. Even if he practiced anything dangerous he would break out the bigger moves into smaller moves and work them up together.
