James and Victoria tied the knot in the year 1987. The duo shares two kids together namely Sebastian Spader and Elijah Spader. Almost after 17 years of their married life, the duo called off their marriage. They filed for divorce in the year 2004.

He began dating actress Leslie Stefanson. She is also the former co-star of James in the movie Alien Hunter. James has one son from his girlfriend Leslie namely Nathaneal Spader. The welcomed Nathaneal into the world in August of the year 2008.

James Todd Spader was born on 7 February 1960 in Boston,  Massachusetts, as the youngest child of mother Jean Fraser Spader and father Stoddard Greenwood Spader. Both of his parents were teachers. He has two elder siblings.

According to the wiki, he attended Pike School where his mother taught arts and later he joined  Brooks School where his father taught. After that, he had a transfer to the Phillips Academy where he befriended John F. Kennedy, Jr.

At the age of 17, James moved to New York City in order to pursue his career in acting.
