Laura, who was 38 when she got married, already had two children with her partner. They are parents to a son named Ellery Walker Harper and a daughter named Jaya Harper. Their son was 4-year-old and their daughter was just 1 when they tied the knot. Ellery was born on August 21, 2001, and Jaya was born on November 28, 2004.

The duo met at one of Ben’s concerts in the fall of 2000 and eventually developed a chemistry between them. However, their bonding couldn’t last long as they separated in 2010. After five years of marriage, her estranged husband Ben filed for divorce in October 2010, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
