On Marius’ birthday in 2014, on 31 August, he got down on one knee and proposed Oti for marriage.
Later that year, Oti and her boyfriend Marius got married in an intimate wedding ceremony in the presence of their close friends and family.
Marius has always been supportive of Oti’s professional career. He also had appeared in a group number on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017.

Oti and Marius don’t have any children as of 2020 but have plans of starting a family one day.

Born in Pretoria, South Africa, Oti was born to her parents, Dudu Mabuse and Peter Mabuse.
Talking about her siblings, she has two sisters, Motsi and Phemelo. Phemelo is an MBA graduate who is currently working as an engineer.
Her sister Motsi is also a professional ballroom dancer who is also one of the judges on the Strictly panel. She was previously a judge on Let’s Dance, which is the German version of Strictly Come Dancing.
Oti, age 29, also had an older brother named Neo who passed away by suicide. She has opened up more about her family life and the tragic death of her brother in her book, Chili in the Blood: My Life Through Dance.
