His fashion designer mother later married John Eley, a musician. And he was raised alongside his half-brother named Jonathan Eley (Younger Half-Brother) and three other half-sisters Soteria Nisreen Eley, Gabriella Eley, Mei’asia Smith.

He attended Early Head Start and Kempton Elementary as a child but soon left to be homeschooled.

He along with his parents moved to Atlanta, Georgia, when he was eight years old. In 2001, he returned for a short time before returning to Atlanta the following year.
