Back in 2003, she first started as a reporter on The Weather Channel as fill in and she was also a member of the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Society was also president of the North Florida chapter of the AMS from 2002-2003 and she holds the seal of approval from the AMS and back in 2005; she joined her first show as a co-host. And not so long she became an on-camera meteorologist as co-host of Abrams and Bette’s: Beyond the Forecast and then went, later on, went on to Weather Center.

And back in 2009, she also co-anchored Wake up with AI Roker on weekday mornings from NBC studios in New York. She has also filled in for Roker on Today and occasionally joined Sam Champion on America’s Morning Headquarters. Back in 2010, she and Roker reported live from Vancouver from February 8th-28th for Wake up with AI and AMHQ, But it was cancelled back in 2015 and she works from the Weather Channel’s studios in Atlanta.

She was an interim weather anchor on Weekend Today back in 2012 when the previous anchor left, she also co-hosted The Weather Channel programs On The Rader from 2012-2013 and also in Morning Rush on weekdays from 2009-2014. And she is now a co-host of AMHQ with Jen Carfagno and Jim Cantore. And back in 2014, she had a cameo appearance as herself in the film ‘Sharknado 2: The Second One. She has also reported live on The Weather Channel on the coverage of Hurricane Harvey in 2017 and is also included in the Top 100 Weather Moments in 2020.
