Happily Married for Over A Decade!
Cynthia Loyst married the love of her life Jason Loyst in 2010. Her story is something that most of us singles would envy. The duo first met at stages back in their University days. They both attended York University pursuing a degree in film and video. Although they were orbited around the same people and places they have yet to really interact.
Years later, after graduation, Cynthia met Jason again when they were both hired by a mutual friend for a music video. Cynthia was hired as a belly dancer while Jason was hired as the director of Photography.

During their official encounter, they did recognize each other but they didn’t really had any conversation. Later, they crashed at the same party together which led to a smooth conversation and sharing of numbers.
Soon they went on their first date at a regular restaurant of Cynthia, the Insomnia at Bloor and Bathrust Street. Cynthia had prepared a list of finely tuned questions which would help her to sort out the preference. By the end of the date and questions, she realized that they were a match.
The Proposal!
Started off as lovers, Cynthia Loyst husband proposed to her at The Distillery in Toronto, one of their favorite spots. The proposal came as a complete surprise to Cynthia. Although Jason had invited her to dinner at a place they both loved, she wasn’t expecting anything special. They had recently bought a house, and things had been a bit tense in their relationship, so Cynthia didn’t think much of the date. But when she came back from the bathroom, she was stunned to find a tiny box waiting for her on the table.

The place held such a special memory for the duo that they decided to tie the wedding knot in at the same place of their engagement. The place was called the Boiler House but now is changed to a Mexican place called EI Catrin.
While the wedding venue held a special memory for the duo they wanted the ceremony to be more special and requested their close friend to officiate the wedding.
As they both work in similar industries (television and film) so, they know each other very well and have been balancing their careers and marriage for over two decades now.
Furthermore, they also have a lot of space and room to be individuals in their house
Talking about their children, they have a son named Jaya who was born on 1st May 2013.
