Henni was first inspired to play golf at the age of 9 after she watched Jose Maria Olazabal’s 1999 Masters triumph.
Henni never spares a moment after she received her first set of golf clubs and she often practiced sometimes at her back garden and sometimes under floodlight. Her practice paid off as she won her first tournament which is the T-peg junior golf competition.
Henni was personally selected by professional English golfer Nick Faldo at the age of 13, after her performance in 17 Opens at the Under-18 level.
She won the Dorset Ladies County Championship as the youngest player and joined the Ladies European Tour in 2003. Similarly, at the age of 15, Henni again won the Central European Under-16 Championship along with the English Under-15 championship and later, Henni also won the Welsh Ladies Golf Union Under-21.
