Jesse Metcalfe born Jesse Eden Metcalfe is an American actor and musician who is well-recognized for playing the character of John Rowland in the American comedy-drama mystery TV show called Desperate Housewives. He is also recognized for working in the TV soap opera called Passion and in the teen comedy movie called John Tucker Must Die.

Jesse was also part of the Hallmark Channel’s hit TV show called Chesapeake Shores. Jesse is an award-winning actor and has won a Screen Actors Guild Award for outstanding performance by an ensemble in a comedy series for his performance in the series Desperate Housewives and a Teen Choice Award for the same series.

Who Are Jesse Metcalfe’s Parents?

On December 9, 1978, Jesse Metcalfe was born to Nancy nee DeMaio and Jeff Metcalfe in Carmel Valley Village, California. Jesse is of one-half Italian and one-quarter Portuguese ancestry with his other roots being English, Irish, and French-Canadian. Jesse’s paternal great grandfather named William Harry Metcalfe was born in Yorkshire, England, and then moved to Massachusetts, where he met and married his wife, Catherine Young, Jesse’s great-grandmother. When he was 3 years old, Jesse’s parents split and he moved with his mother to Connecticut.

His parents have not revealed their identity or any other details such as their profession and current residence. Jesse went to the Williams School, a private school located in New London, Connecticut. As a high school student, Jesse used to play several basketball leagues. Later, Jesse went to New York University and learned acting and film at the Prestigious Tisch School of the Arts. After Jesse was booked for the part of Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald on the soap opera called Passions, he dropped out of New York University.

Jesse Metcalfe is a single child and does not have any siblings. His parents did not have any other kids. Jesse had the full support and love of his parents growing up.
