Hillary Scott tied the knot with her boyfriend turned husband Chris Tyrrell on 7 January 2012 in upstate New York in front of family and close friends just before sunset. Hillary and her drummer husband have been together for nearly 9 years and have grown their family of 2 to 3 and eventually 5.

Hillary Scott and her husband Chris Tyrrell first met in college through a mutual friend. But the two did not end up dating during their college. The duo reconnected in 2012 on a Tim McGraw tour when Hillary was a singer of Lady Antebellum whereas Chris was the drummer of his band Love and Theft. After then their romantic life began. The pair started dating in July of 2010 and after a year of dating, Chris proposed to Hillary just like the way she had dreamed. They got engaged in East Tennesse overlooking a lake.
In the meantime, Chris joined Lady Antebellum as a drummer.
Soon after a year of their marriage, the duo became parents to their first child Eisele Kaye on 22 July 2013. Their first daughter was named in the honor of their mother’s maiden name.

Later in August 2017, the duo revealed that they were expecting twins, and on 29 January 2018 they welcomed identical little ladies Betsy Mack and Emory JoAnn. Chris then stepped back from Lady Antebellum to care for their twins while Hillary had band tours.
