Nonso Anozie was born on 17 November 1978 in London, England, the UK to Nigerian parents. His birth name was Chukwunonso Nwachukwu Anozie. His family belongs of Nigerian descent from the south-eastern Igbo part of Nigeria and they came to England in the 1970s.
