Her parents divorced after eight years of marriage. Despite their separation, both have remained consistently supportive of Taylour and her career. After the divorce, Taylour was raised primarily by her mother alongside her older brother, Travis. He is the only known sibling in her family.

Taylour spent most of her early years focused on dance. She began training at the age of two. She attended various dance academies across the Los Angeles area. She also studied ballet for two summers at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, DC.
