Rachel Mac was born on December 22, 2004, in Romeo, Michigan. She was raised by her father, Dr. Scott McLeod, after her parents divorced when she was four years old. Rachel has two older sisters, Amanda and Olivia McLeod, with whom she maintains a close bond.

Her father, Dr. Scott McLeod, is a prominent chiropractor in Shelby Township. He graduated Cum Laude from Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic in 1992 and is board-certified by the National Board of Chiropractic.

Beyond his practice, he is a bestselling author and television host. He co-authored 30 Day Total Business Makeover with 30 other business professionals and created, produced, and hosted the local cable show Back To Health in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
