She plays the cousin of the main character known as Devi played by Maitreyi Ramakrishnan. The show is about an Indian- American teenager, a high school student who is coping with her father’s death.

Richa is of Indian descent but grew up in America and went to the University of California, Davis. Richa is well educated and a communication graduate also trained in different styles of Indian dances including Kathak. Richa is a professional dancer and has danced since the age of 5. Richa has also appeared in various TV shows such as The Mindy Project, NCIS: Los Angeles, and 9-1-1.
