Cindy Williams was a phenomenal actor who died recently on January 25, 2023, because of a brief illness in Los Angeles. She was among the most recognizable celebrities in America during the 1970s and 1980s.

She was mostly recognized for her character called Shirley in the beloved American sitcom called Laverne & Shirley. The news of her death was announced by her children, Zak and Emily Hudson.

Cindy was born in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California to her parents. She moved to Texas along with her family at the age of one and then returned back to Los Angeles at the age of 10.

In 1982, Cindy Williams was married to musician and vocalist Bill Hudson. They got married when Bill was 33 and Cindy was 35 years old.

However, their marriage ended in 2000 after being married for 18 years.

Bill was previously married to an actress Goldie Hawn with whom he has two kids, a daughter named Kate Hudson who is a renowned actress, and a son named Oliver Hudson who is also an actor.

Kate also opened up about her desire to reconnect with Zach and Emily in an episode of her podcast Sibling Revelry in January 2021.
