Adam Duvall is an American professional baseball player who is the first University of Louisville alumnus to become an MLB All-Star.

Adam Duvall was initially drafted in the 11th round of the 2010 Major League Baseball (MLB) draft by the MLB’s team the San Francisco Giants. He briefly also played for the San Jose Giants of the minor league baseball team in 2012.

He was again called up for major league by San Francisco Giants on 25th June 2014 and he made his MLB debut o 26th June 2014.

Later in 2015, Adam played for the Sacramento River Cats of the Minor League Baseball and on 30th July 2015, he alongside Dominican professional pitcher Keury Mella were traded to MLB’s Cincinnati Red. They were exchanged for the MLB’s pitcher Mike Leake.

Similarly, Adam Duvall was again traded to the MLB’s Atlanta Braves on 30 July 2018 but was non-tendered by the Atlanta Braves on 2nd December 2020.

After that Adam signed a 1-year contract of $2 million with the Miami Marlins on 9th February 2021. However, he was again traded to the Atlanta Braves on 30th July 2021. So, as of 2021, his salary is estimated to be around $3 million whereas his net worth is also speculated to range in millions.

Adam Duvall was born on 4th September 1988 in Louisville, Kentucky to father Alvin Duvall and mother Jeana Duvall. He holds American nationality and his birth name is Adam Lynn Duvall and his nickname is Duvy.

Growing up in a big sports town, Louisville, Adam was always a local fan. 

Talking about his educational background, Adam Duvall went to Butler High School. But during his junior year in high school, Adam experienced some pain in his back which was later found to be a stress fracture in the back. So, during his senior year of high school in 2006 Adam ended up having surgery so, he missed his whole senior year of high school.

He then went to Western Kentucky University where he played college baseball in his freshman year but then he again went to a junior college named Chipola College in Florida to try to get back into the game. Later he joined the University of Louisville where he ended his college career.

Additionally, Adam Duvall was also diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in the year 2012.
