He was in a secret affair with her own best friend Marie-Anne Thiébaud who was also her personal secretary. Shania Twain was born on August 28, 1965, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to parents Sharon Morrison and Clarence Edwards. Her parents got divorced when she was just at the age of two and after that, she started living with her mother and siblings. Later, her mother got married to Jerry Twain who adopted them. They also have a brother from their stepfather and her mother.
Her stepfather was abusive in nature and her mom and her stepfather used to fight a lot. In 1987, she lost her parents after her mother and stepfather died in an automobile accident. At the age of 21, Shania encountered a new bunch of responsibility to take care of their younger siblings.
